Introducing Bandaoke and First Year Studio Reflection

The year has flown by so fast since Music Junkie Studios opened in August of 2015! It’s amazing that the studio is almost a year old. So many wonderful things have taken place. Next week on July 23rd, students  will be able to show Music Junkies (and non music junkies) what this studio is made out of through a student performance. Sounds of Summer is a way for the students to reflect on, wrap up, and show off what they have learned over the year. The performance will take place at the Winehaus across the street from the studio and doors will open at 12:30 PM. The show starts at 1.

This isn’t the only Music Junkie event happening July 23rd! If you haven’t heard, Music Junkie Studios is having their first ever Bandaoke night! Bandaoke is so cool because you get to sing the best karaoke songs, but with a live band! The event runs from 9PM to 12 AM. BYOB and buy your tickets today or at the door for $20. FunkyTown Food Truck will be catering, so make sure to bring your appetites with you too!

This summer the studio held two music camps: rhythm camp and guitar camp. Both camps helped the students to grow tremendously in their knowledge and experience of music. I strongly encourage all Music Junkies to check out the media on our facebook, instagram page, and youtube channel!

I hope to see all of you next weekend! It’s going to be an amazing day! Students and teachers have worked so hard this year and we hope next weekend will show all of you how fantastic Music Junkie Studios really is! See you there 🙂
