Matt Mabe has been a fixture in the Fort Worth music scene since 2004 and has played with many bands in years since. He has recorded dozens of albums with bands including his current projects, Vodeo and Polydogs. Mabe has received several awards from the local press for his playing.
He won the “Best Drummer” award in the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards six times, as well as their “MVP Musician” and “Critic’s Choice Local Rockstar” awards. Matt was also nominated three years in a row for the “Best Drummer” award in the Dallas Observer Music Awards. Matt is now bringing that enthusiasm and passion for music from the stage, to his students at Music Junkie Studios.
