Maybe one of these sounds like you?

β€œ

My kid is obsessed with bass lines and I have no clue where to start.

β€œ

I can noodle along to songs, but I’ve never learned to really lock in with a drummer.

β€œ

I want to play in a band β€” I just need the real fundamentals first.

I’ve always been drawn to the low end. I just never gave myself permission to learn.

Bass is the pulse of every great song β€” the low end you feel in your chest and the groove that makes people move.

We build real technique into the songs you love, so you go from picking out notes to driving the whole band.

Not sure about the right age or fit?

Bass has long strings and a wider neck, so it asks for some finger strength and reach β€” very small hands sometimes struggle at first. Not sure bass is the right fit, or the right age to start? Just ask. We’ll help you choose the best instrument and the best time to begin, honestly.

The concept is pretty remarkable. My 10-year-old loves all genres β€” and here she can engage in the music that drives her, not just the classical stuff.

Frequently asked questions

+Do I need my own bass?
To start, no β€” but every student needs a bass at home to practice on. We’ll help you choose the right one before you buy so you don’t waste money on the wrong fit.
+Is my child old enough β€” or am I too old?

For our youngest beginners (ages 3–6), we usually suggest starting with Music for Littles, where they can build a love of rhythm and music through play first (bass itself asks for a bit more hand size and strength).

We teach first-timers, teens leveling up, and adults chasing a lifelong dream β€” beginner through advanced.

+How much do bass lessons cost?
Three options: Drop-Ins for flexibility, Monthly Tuition (our most popular β€” a discounted rate with bonus lesson hours built in), and our 12-Month Membership for the best value. Grab the Service Guide on our sign-up page for current pricing.
+What if we need to miss a lesson?
Tuition is appointment-based, so there are no refunds or credits for missed lessons. As a free courtesy, Monthly Tuition students can use bonus make-up options like our Free Lesson Days (offered periodically), or switch to an online lesson β€” same day, same time, same teacher. Drop-In students can reschedule with at least 3 hours’ notice.
