Maybe one of these sounds like you?

“I’ve always wanted to sing — but I’m an adult with no training, and I feel ridiculous even trying.”
“My kid sings all day at home, then goes silent the second anyone’s listening.”
“I’ve been singing for years, but I’ve hit a wall and can’t figure out how to break through.”
“I’m solid on my instrument — but I want to sing while I play, and right now my voice just can’t keep up.”
“There’s a real audition on the line — the school, the role, the spot — and I don’t just need to get through it. I need to be the one they pick.”

We hear these every week — and they’re exactly why singers stay with us for years.

Your voice is already yours. We just help you understand it.

Most voice lessons hand you exercises and hope something sticks. We start somewhere different — by building your agency. You’ll learn how your voice actually works, how to name what you’re feeling, how to self-diagnose challenges, and how to make real decisions about your sound. Led by our founder Kristi Judd, every lesson is shaped around you — never a one-size-fits-all method. That’s how singers here grow into confident, self-aware artists, not just better technicians.

Your voice coach

Meet Kristi Judd.

Kristi grew up surrounded by music — inspired by her father, a music minister — and trained on a Spivey Hall Music Scholarship at Clayton State University. As a Music Director, Children’s Choir Director, and private instructor, she built a deeply student-centered way of teaching, then founded Music Junkie Studios in 2015 to make it real.

She’s led voice at MJS ever since — 11 years and counting — helping students become not just better singers, but more confident, self-aware artists.

Frequently asked questions

+Am I too old — or is my child too young — to start singing?
Almost certainly not. We teach littles, teens, adult beginners, seniors, and lifelong singers coming back after years away. There’s no too old, too young, too shy, or too late here. We meet you where you are and grow from there.
+What if we need to miss a lesson?
Tuition is appointment-based, not attendance-based, so there are no refunds or credits for missed lessons. As a free courtesy, Monthly Tuition students can use bonus make-up options like our Free Lesson Days (offered periodically), or switch to an online lesson — same day, same time, same teacher. Drop-In students can reschedule with at least 3 hours’ notice.
+How much do voice lessons cost?
Three options: Drop-Ins for flexibility, Monthly Tuition (our most popular — a discounted rate with a 48-lesson annual guarantee), and our 12-Month Membership for the best value. Grab the Service Guide on our sign-up page for current pricing.
