Vocalist recording into a studio microphone — home recording lessons at Music Junkie Studios in Fort Worth

Maybe one of these sounds like you?

My recordings sound flat and amateur next to real songs.

I bought the gear… and now it’s overwhelming and confusing.

I can play great, but I can’t get it to sound good recorded.

There are a thousand YouTube tutorials and I’m more lost than ever.

I want to release my music, but I can’t afford a pro studio every time.

My mixes sound fine in my headphones and terrible everywhere else.

You don’t need a fancy studio to make great recordings. You need to know what actually matters — and skip everything that doesn’t.

We’ll teach you a real workflow on the gear you already have, so you can capture, edit, and mix music you’re proud to share.

Families keep telling us the same thing

★★★★★

They teach not just skills, but to love music, be creative, and perform. It feels like you’re part of one big musical family.

Parent of kids + adults

★★★★★

The concept is pretty remarkable. My 10-year-old loves all genres — and here she can engage in the music that drives her, not just the classical stuff.

— Maddie S.

Frequently asked questions

+Do I need my own gear?
Not to start — we can teach on studio gear and help you build your own setup over time. Already have gear? Even better — we’ll teach you on exactly what you own.
+Which software do you teach?
We meet you on your setup — common DAWs like GarageBand, Logic, Ableton, and Reaper. New to it? We’ll help you choose something that fits your goals and budget.
+Is there an age requirement?

Home recording suits motivated teens and adults — and plenty of sharp younger students, too.

There’s no strict age. If you’re ready to capture your music, we’ll meet you there.

+How much do recording lessons cost?
Three options: Drop-Ins for flexibility, Monthly Tuition (our most popular — a discounted rate with bonus lesson hours built in), and our 12-Month Membership for the best value. Grab the Service Guide on our sign-up page for current pricing.
+What if we need to miss a lesson?
Tuition is appointment-based, so there are no refunds or credits for missed lessons. As a free courtesy, Monthly Tuition students can use bonus make-up options like our Free Lesson Days (offered periodically), or switch to an online lesson — same day, same time, same teacher. Drop-In students can reschedule with at least 3 hours’ notice.
